With the influence and inspiration of Narrow Gate Vineyards, I now farm 6.5 acres on the Central Coast of California, where I also utilize biodynamic farming practices in pursuit of making terroir driven wines, inspired by my family’s roots.

Winemaking.

After graduating with a bachelor of science degree in Wine and Viticulture, I focused on working with different winemakers, in various regions, who placed value on responsible farming practices and making real, terroir driven wines.

After working in Beaujolais, France | Central Otago, New Zealand | the Willamette Valley in Oregon | and Howell Mountain in Napa Valley, I now call the Edna Valley, on the Central Coast of California, my home away from home.

The Foundation

of Lady of the Sunshine starts in the vineyard.

I have been stewarding the Chene Vineyard in Edna Valley since the beginning of 2018, where I am transitioning the 6.5 acre vineyard to be Demeter certified biodynamic, making it the second vineyard to be certified in our appellation. I also work with other local farmers to source grapes from other favorite organic or better vineyards on the Central Coast.

Lady of the Sunshine is a playful expression of wines that focus on farming and making wine without additives or manipulation. Lady of the Sunshine is farmed, crafted, and shared with lots and lots of love.
